Tom Doak's first solo design opened here in 1989, closed in 2008, and reopened in 2024 as a private club after Doak returned to rebuild it. On rolling, sandy Northern Michigan terrain, it's the birthplace of the minimalist style that later defined Pacific Dunes and Ballyneal.
