Victoria National Golf Club

Built on a long abandoned coal strip mine in southwestern Indiana, Victoria National turned industrial scars into one of the most dramatic modern layouts in American golf. Tom Fazio routed the course through corridors between overgrown spoil mounds, using the spring fed lagoons that formed in the excavations as hazards throughout. Widely regarded as the finest course in the state.
