Eight championship courses across three northern Michigan properties under the Boyne Golf umbrella, gathered within a short drive of Petoskey. The collection opens with Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s 1966 Heather, the course that started Boyne golf and still the property's measuring stick, and runs through four William Newcomb designs spanning two decades: the ski-slope descents of The Alpine and The Monument at Boyne Mountain, the quieter parkland of The Moor, and the Donald Ross Memorial, an eighteen-hole composite of Ross's most celebrated holes assembled from scouting trips to more than fifty of his courses. Arthur Hills supplies the two most decorated layouts, the Links/Quarry routing at Bay Harbor tracing bluffs and an old limestone quarry above Little Traverse Bay, and his own course at The Highlands. Harry Bowers's Crooked Tree closes it out on the hardwood bluffs west of town. Every course is open to public booking.
