Eight of Scotland's greatest links — St Andrews Old Course, Carnoustie, Royal Dornoch, Muirfield, Royal Troon, Turnberry, Kingsbarns, and North Berwick — spanning the country from the Fife coast to the Highlands. Six are publicly accessible; Muirfield accepts visitors on limited days only and Royal Troon has restricted visitor access. An Edinburgh base covers five courses efficiently; Dornoch requires a dedicated journey north. Realistically a two or three trip completion. For any serious golfer, one of the most rewarding trails on the platform.
