Ten courses that have hosted the U.S. Amateur more than once — golf's oldest championship, first played in 1895. Three clubs share the record at six apiece: Oakmont, Merion, and The Country Club at Brookline. Merion is where Bobby Jones completed the Grand Slam in 1930; Pebble Beach is where Jack Nicklaus won in 1961 and Viktor Hovland in 2018; Cherry Hills is where Phil Mickelson broke through in 1990. Pebble Beach and Pinehurst No. 2 are playable without a member.
