Eleven U.S. Open venues that have each hosted the championship at least twice. Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black, and Pinehurst No. 2 are public and bookable today — start there. But Oakmont, Winged Foot, Shinnecock Hills, the Olympic Club, Baltusrol, Oakland Hills, Merion, and The Country Club are all private. Eight of eleven venues require serious connections. This is a lifelong pursuit with serious access challenges.
