Coore & Crenshaw's clifftop layout at Bandon Dunes Resort plays along the Pacific with ocean views on every hole and nine greens set on the bluffs. Built without a single sand bunker, its defense is wind, firm ground, and grassy hollows — with a handful of tee shots, most memorably the par-4 6th, played out over the cliff's edge.
